Educated at Wheaton College (IL), Boston College, University of London, and Harvard University, David Jepson has been a school teacher and administrator for over 35 years.
For much of this time, he was at TASIS, England, a Nursery-Grade 12, co-ed, day and boarding school near London where he taught courses in English (including AP and IB English), Latin (including AP Latin), Computer Programming (including AP Computer Science), and Humanities (including IB Theory of Knowledge). He has also served at TASIS as Academic Dean, Assistant Director of Development, Head of Upper School, and Director of Technology and Learning. Since 2015, his current position is Director of Studies in TASIS, Lugano.
Among his achievements, David was the author of a school information database system that was used by TASIS for 20 years; he was the co-founder and co-director of the Shakespeare Xperience summer course at TASIS, which gave students from all over the world the opportunity to perform one of the Bard’s plays at Southwark Cathedral, London's oldest Gothic cathedral and the parish church of Shakespeare in the 16th century; and he has been the leader of numerous school trips to Greece, including a trip he recently designed for IB Year 2 students to Crete and Santorini.
David was elected to the board in 2015.
