Campion Book Day is a day to celebrate and share our love of authors, illustrators and books. We had a chance to dress up as our favourite book characters and enjoy the day through book talks, read Alouds, shared reading, partner reading, book presentations, story jars, crafts and a lot more! The Year 6 children visited the younger classes and performed ‘The Gruffalo’, read stories and made crafts. Book Day is not just a one day event. We want children at Campion to read every day because we know that reading for pleasure changes lives. We hope that Book Day inspires our Campion community to nurture a love for reading.
