We strongly advise you to carry out the testing procedure as above.
Please keep us informed should your child test positive.
Please note that we are still waiting for clarification of how pupils will be able to obtain “free” tests. Therefore, you will need to purchase the required tests from your local pharmacy.
Please note in accordance with EODY’s Guidelines and Gazette’s (FEK) Regulations, we fully expect your child to be in school wearing a FFP2 mask, unless they have a positive test or are unwell.
Deep cleaning and disinfecting of the exposed locations at Campion have been completed, according to EODY’s and Ministry of Health and Education guidelines.
We would like to remind you the most common symptoms of Covid-19 infections are cough, fever and shortness of breath. Muscle aches, sore throat and fatigue are also common. Symptoms usually develop between 2-7 days after last exposure. Therefore, the advice from EODY and Campion is:
- Monitoring your child for symptoms and performing temperature checks and Covid-19 tests as described above for 7 days.
- Consult with your child’s physician for evaluation and need for additional testing if your child develops symptoms.
We ask everyone to continue to take the necessary precautions to remain healthy.
Due to medical privacy laws, we are unable to release the names of the infected individual with COVID-19. We will continue to communicate changes and updates with you.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work through unprecedented challenges.
Please contact the nurse if you need further guidance regarding the expected testing protocols.
