Financial Recompense 2020-2021

11 June 2021 Categories Junior

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your continued support during the academic year 2020-2021. At the start of 2021 there was much optimism compared to 2020 but the COVID-19 vaccination process was slower than many had hoped for resulting in further lockdowns. As Greece’s vaccination programme is picking up in pace there is hope that the next academic year will be less challenging than this past one.

Whilst Campion’s online provision was appropriate, of high quality and suitable for most year groups, it was not appropriate to ask children in Nursery and Reception to spend the bulk of their day staring at a computer screen.  As the school was not able to replicate the social interaction of children that is all so important at this stage of a child’s development, the school has taken the decision to process a credit against your child’s school fees for next year (provided they were enrolled during the time of online provision either in Nursery or Reception). The amount of the credit is equivalent to a 20% rebate for the time of online learning (50% of the school year). The school will not be offering any rebate to children in any of the other year groups.

We are also acutely aware that the amount of parental support that was required during online learning impacted the ability of a parent being able to focus on their own work. Therefore, in addition to the credit towards next year’s school fees, we would like to offer a 50% reduction on the cost of Campion’s summer school (Nursery and Reception children). Further information regarding summer school can be found at .

Once again, thank you for your support in these challenging times. Wishing you and your child a smooth end to the school year.

Kind regards,
