From the PRC

6 October 2020 Categories Junior, Senior

Dear Families,

The PRC would like to welcome you back to school! We hope that everyone had a fun and safe summer and is excited for the new school year lying ahead.

As you may know from previous years, the PRC (Parents Club) consists of a group of parents who strive to bring together students, families and friends in order to support and celebrate the best of school life, as well as to strengthen the school community. For those of you new to the school, please click here to find out more about us!

Until last year, the main activities of the PRC consisted of the organization of its signature events (Halloween, Christmas Fair and International Day), the coordination of seminars and talks, the support of school sport events and other activities like the Hara games and Science Fair. Each year, the PRC has supported various charities and initiatives (such as the 2019 donations to  Amimoni, Pediatric Trauma, Together for Children and  the Covid-19 response through Desmos.). At the end of each year, the PRC gives back to the school community and supports the needs of both the Junior and Senior school, through its fundraising activities. In 2019, the collected  funds  will support the purchase of IT equipment for both the Junior and Senior schools, as well as the construction of a gazebo for the Junior school. Last but not least, the PRC coordinates the second hand uniform sale, by collecting donations of second hand uniforms – in good condition – and selling them for €2 per item, thus further supporting our fundraising as well as sustainable practices.

If you need any items of uniform, please send an email with your requirements to in order for us to check the inventory and let you know if we have what you need. Appointments to view the items will be made individually. Finally, used items of uniform (clean and in very good condition) may be dropped off in bags at the central gate (to Mr. Dimitris).
In this challenging year with constantly changing COVID restrictions, the PRC will need to be more creative than ever, in order to generate new ideas and initiatives to continue adding value to our childrens’ school life and to support academic, sports and community causes.

Under normal circumstances, members meet optionally once a month to discuss PRC matters and form committees that lead and coordinate the various events. However, this year we are not sure how often we will meet in person but we will try our best to keep communicating at least through online meetings, in case getting together is not possible.

The PRC members will receive communication via email, we will also be setting up a new PRC WhatsApp group in order to share information about PRC meetings, upcoming events, initiatives and requests for specific support. When needed we will create separate WhatsApp groups for coordination of specific events or actions.

If you are inspired by the role of the PRC and would like to support us with your ideas and/or volunteer your time, we will be delighted to welcome you as a PRC Member! Just follow the link and fill out the requested details. (In case the link doesn’t open pls send us an email with your name and we will contact you) You will be asked to submit a €5 annual subscription fee at our first in-person meeting. If you already are a PRC member and would like to continue receiving our emails or would like to be added to the new WhatsApp group we will set up, please also fill in the registration form to help us renew and confirm our members list.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions or suggestions at
We are looking forward to seeing you and working with you in as many ways as possible this year!
