Greek Dancing Performance 2023
Dear Parents,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and spirits. We wanted to take this opportunity to inform you about the importance of Greek dancing lessons for your children and invite you to our annual Greek dancing performance that will take place on Friday 24th March at 7:30 pm in the Senior School Hall.
Greek dancing is a crucial part of Greek culture and history and we believe that learning these traditional dances is an essential aspect of our pupils’ education. It allows them to immerse themselves in a unique cultural experience and gain a deeper understanding of Greece’s rich history and traditions.
We are delighted to have Mr Fahy, a Campion alumnus, deliver these lessons to our pupils. Mr Fahy is an experienced dancer and has been sharing his passion for Greek dancing with our students for many years. His expertise and enthusiasm have helped our students develop a love for Greek culture and history.
During playtimes, the Junior and Senior participants of the Greek Dancing Club have been practicing and perfecting their dance moves, and we are excited to showcase their hard work at our annual Greek dancing performance. This performance will feature traditional Greek dances from all over Greece, and our students will be dressed in colourful traditional Greek costumes.
We would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to attend our annual Greek dancing performance. This is an opportunity for you to witness firsthand the dedication and hard work that our Greek dancers have put into perfecting these traditional dances. We are sure you will enjoy watching the performance and appreciate the cultural significance of Greek dancing.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at our annual Greek dancing performance.
Sincerely,
Effie Panagopoulou
