Dear Parents,

I would like to invite you to a meeting for all Year 12 students and parents on Wednesday 20^th September at 4.00pm in the Senior School Hall. The meeting will combine both an award ceremony for those Year 12 students who were conferred prizes in Year 11 and an informational meeting about the IB programme in action.

The meeting will cover how the IB Diploma programme works, the deadlines for coursework (IAs) as well as an explanation of the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and CAS requirements. During the meeting, there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

I have attached a copy of the calendar of deadlines for IB1 students listing all the important dates for producing and completing coursework in the first year. Please note that the internal deadlines for a number of subjects are not included on the calendar as they are scheduled for next year, although continuous formative and summative assessments take place throughout the year.
