Last Days of Junior School

22 June 2022 Categories Junior

Dear Parents,

With just two days of school to go before the summer holidays, I would like to remind you that the last celebration of the year, the Summer Concert, will take place on Thursday 23rd at 7.30 pm. All children in Years 3 to 6 will be performing songs with their classes. The Y2 Latin dancers and the children taking Arabic lessons will also perform. Children should arrive at school by 7.20 pm and head to the Senior School playground where their teachers will be waiting for them. I do hope you can all join us for this event. It is always a lovely way to end the year.

End-of-year reports for children in Y1 to Y6 will be shared electronically via the parent portal on Friday afternoon. Reception children will bring home printed booklets of their EYFS Learning Journals.

How to access the Parent Portal

  • For those of you who have not yet accessed the portal an invitation has been emailed to you today. Note: both parents can set up their own password and based on their own email address (it is not a joint access account).
  • For those of you who have already accessed the portal you can do so again by clicking here (a “forgotten password” link is available if needed).

The last day of term, Friday 24th June, is a half-day.  Children will have lunch at 12.00 pm. Children will need to be picked up at the earlier time of 1.15 pm and their bus collection times will be approximately 2 hours earlier than usual with buses leaving school at approx 1.30 pm.  Any changes to collection should be made in good time to the transport office, .

Friday will be a non-uniform day for all children but please do not send your child in flip-flops or open-toed shoes as these are not suitable for running around in at playtime.
