Dear Parents,

Due to the fact that technology has become an integral part of our everyday lives, we are introducing an after-school Coding Club in collaboration with our IT Coordinator, Mr Nitsche. The club will be run by the company STEM Education Team. The coaches are professional experts in coding.

Pupils will learn how to use coding by creating games and other projects giving them the opportunity to familiarise themselves with a new programming language in technology. Python is a higher-level programming language used by many international companies worldwide.

We will offer the coding club after school every Monday for Years 11-12 and Tuesday for Years 9-10. In case of a small number of participants, the club will be offered once a week only. The coding club will start in October and will run up to the end of May 2024.

The cost of this club is €250 for the whole year. Payment should be made by direct deposit through Alpha Bank, or to Mrs Christofidou in the Administration Office by Monday 25^th September. Please do not send money in envelopes with the children.
