Dear Year 12 Parents,

As you know, Theory of Knowledge (TOK) is one of the 3 ‘core’ compulsory subjects of the IB Diploma course. There are two elements to the assessment of the TOK course: the first is a 1,600-word essay, which students begin work on at the start of Year 13. The other is a piece of coursework called the TOK Exhibition, which requires students to explore ways in which TOK manifests in the world around them.

This year, the school would like to invite Year 12 parents to attend the student presentations of their TOK Exhibition coursework. This will take place on Tuesday 30th May in the Senior School Hall, starting at 12:10 through to 13:30.

After the presentations of the TOK Exhibition there will be a short presentation of end-of-year prizes awarded to some of our Year 12 cohort. As you are probably aware, the school is not holding a formal prize-giving event this year, instead all year groups are presenting portfolios of their work at the end of which group prizes are awarded.
