On 1st October 70 Campionites met in front of the Monument to the Unknown Soldier at Syntagma in order to participate in this year’s Race for the Cure.

This is an annual event organised by Alma Zois, an organisation that advocates and raises money for breast cancer research. Most of the pupils were running, while those who found the 5k daunting but still wished to contribute were given the option between a 2k walk in the centre of Athens or the opportunity to participate digitally.

Congratulations to everyone that took part, no matter how small the contribution is, it is still greatly significant!
