Campion School has a very active parents’ support group, the Parents’ Recreation Committee, better known as the PRC. The PRC provides support in the organisation of school activities and events and does a stellar job in fundraising for the school.

In addition to the PRC, parents are also welcome to offer volunteer assistance in the school’s two libraries.

The Campion Parents Club would like to welcome all new families to Campion School! We hope that everyone had a fun and safe summer and is excited for the new school year lying ahead.

The PRC consists of a group of parents who strive to bring together students, families and friends in order to support and celebrate the best of school life, as well as to strengthen the
school community.

So what does the PRC do?

  • Annually organises its signature events: the Halloween event for the Junior School, the Christmas Fair and International Day . We also support school sports events like the HARA sports games for children with special needs and other school happenings.
  • Puts together seminars and talks which address crucial topics such as diabetes, child psychology, and various issues related to children. These events provide a valuable platform for parents to gain insights, share experiences, and foster a supportive network.
  • Gives back to the school community through fundraising activities which financially support the purchase of school and sports equipment, the organisation of school educational  initiatives and much more. In the 2022-2023 academic year, the PRC collected funds which will support the purchase of 3D printers for the Junior School, an electronic scoreboard for George David stadium and equipment for the Senior School’s Duke of Edinburgh project.
  • Donates, through its fundraising, to numerous charities and initiatives. In 2023-2024, the PRC undertook charity activities for “Mazi gia to Paidi”, “Avali”, “Global Brigades”, “Paidopoli Agios Andreas” and “Helmepa”. We are always interested in finding worthy causes to support on a local and also national level.
  • Coordinates second-hand uniform sales, by collecting donations of second-hand uniforms,  in good condition, and selling them at a low cost, thus further supporting our fundraising as well as sustainable practices. If you need any items of uniform, please send an email with your requirements (specific items and sizes) to in order for us to check the inventory and let you know if we have what you need.

So, who can become a member of the PRC? How can you contribute?

Any parent of the school can become a member of the PRC. The PRC members may contribute in various ways. You can just share ideas or make suggestions that could enrich or improve our projects, you may volunteer your free time and take a more active role in our club or you
could occasionally take part in specific initiatives according to your availability.  There are no specific obligations or restrictions to the time you dedicate.

Under normal circumstances, members meet optionally once a month to discuss PRC matters and form committees that lead and coordinate the various events. However, this year we are not sure how often we will meet in person but we will try our best to keep communicating at
least through online meetings, in case getting together is not possible.
