Special Olympics 2025 Turin – At the end of February, our school was honoured to be participate in the Lighting Ceremony of the “Flame of Hope” at the historic Zappeion Megaron, marking the beginning of the flame’s journey to the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025. This unique event was followed by the Torch Relay in which athletes with special needs, along with the “Guards of the Flame” and pupils from “Schools-Unified Partners” of the Special Olympics Hellas, ran from Zappeion to the Italian Embassy to deliver the Flame to the Italian delegation. The day signified a celebration of the values of inclusivity, equality, dignity and solidarity.

These values were embraced with enthusiasm by everyone present. It was a memorable event for all of us who had the privilege to participate.
