Campion has a long track record of academic excellence and the results that we celebrate this year are a testament to the resilience and determination that the pupils have shown, not only in their IB diploma years, but also throughout their last four years of study.
While the majority of our pupils will be continuing their education in the UK at universities such as Oxford, Imperial, Royal Holloway, the University of Glasgow and Warwick, it is worth celebrating the seven pupils who will be attending top colleges in North America including MIT, the University of Chicago and Brown University.
A number of our graduates will continue their education in universities across Europe. This year our EU acceptances include universities in France, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands and Italy, specifically: Ècole Polytechnique, Karolinska Institute, IE Madrid, the University of Groningen and Politechnico Milano.
As a cohort, the average points score of 36 points is six points above this year’s world average. As ever, there were some outstanding individual performances, with our highest performer Simos
Michalopoulos scoring 45
points.
