The Inter-house Chess Competition for Years 7-9 took place last week. This well-attended event was organised by Lara, Sophia, Marco and Dimitris B. from Year 13, who showed incredible dedication and leadership. What made this competition even more special was that there was a participation fee and all proceeds were donated to ‘Merimna’, an organisation that helps children in need.

The winners are:

1. 1st Place: Sasha Baranov-Alexander (Year 8)
2. 2nd Place: David Wu- Pericles (Year 9)
3. 3rd Place: Kayan Vozeem-Pericles (Year 8)
